F-Chassis Tuning
The N20 / N55 / S55 / S63 generation — the bridge from analog to fully digital. Stage 1 through Stage 3 calibration paths, factory-feel ergonomics, and the parts depth to take any of them to the limit.
Chassis we support
The F-Chassis generation is where BMW's engineering crossed the digital threshold — N20, N55, S55, S63, all running ECUs that respond to a properly authored calibration the way the older platforms responded to standalone management. That's good news for tuning. It's also where the supporting-hardware story gets more interesting: charge cooling, fueling, and ignition all matter more on these cars than they did on the predecessor generation.
We've tuned every F-Chassis platform BMW sold in the US. The marquee cars (M3, M4, M2, M5) carry their own stage paths; the volume cars (335i / 340i / 235i / 240i / 435i / 440i) share the same calibration methodology with platform-specific tweaks. Same approach across the family: measured stages, real hardware recommendations, no overpromised numbers.

Will my dealer flag the tune at service?
The bootmod3 flash is non-destructive and reversible. Revert to stock before a dealer appointment and the ECU is back to factory in a few minutes; re-flash after service. We document the revert step in writing so the next person opening your file knows what's there.
Is it safe for the engine?
Every tune we ship has been datalogged on the car it was written for. We look at knock counts, fuel trims, boost behavior, and intake temps before we sign off. If the numbers don't sit right, we revise. That review and the revision policy are built into what the tune costs.
How long until I have a working tune?
Most calibrations turn around in a few days. We log, review, and revise before anything ships — we would rather get it right than get it out fast.
Can I go back to stock?
Yes. bootmod3 supports a stock revert that returns the ECU to factory calibration in under five minutes. The flash is non-destructive — nothing in the BMW DME is permanently modified. Most owners revert before trade-in.
