AIRTEC Intercooler Upgrade — MINI Cooper S F56
Charge-air temperature is what limits a tuned F56. The OEM intercooler heat-soaks under sustained boost — dyno data on a stock unit shows exit temps climbing from 50°C on the first pull to 61°C by the third, with intake temps essentially unchanged in the 137–141°C range. Power falls off with it. The AIRTEC replacement holds 26–27°C exit temps across the same three-pull sequence at matched inlet conditions.

When you need it
Stage 2 or Stage 3 calibration on a car that gets driven hot — repeated WOT pulls, track days, sustained highway boost in Florida-grade ambient. The OEM core's recovery time is the limit you're hitting. Stage 1 daily drivers can wait on this one.
Warranty
Three years, unlimited mileage. AIRTEC Registered Design Right number 6023250.
