DR06-M — the Esse Werks Signature 2-Piece Modular, built with DR Forged.
The same signature face as our monoblock, in modular form. The DR06 began as an in-house design exercise for our E53 X5 shop truck on the Race Support series; after many iterations we brought it to DR Forged, who took on the challenge, and a few revisions later we had a wheel we were all proud to bring to market — drawn to look its best on the E53 and the modern-classic BMWs.
The design
Our face on a two-piece modular barrel — our design, DR Forged's craft. BMW proportions first, finished in-house, built to order only.
Construction
A forged 6061-T6 center, 6-axis CNC-machined from a single billet, bolted to a separate barrel so width and lip are dialed exactly to your spec. Set to BMW M-Sport brake clearance without spacers. Per-size weight 22–29 lb depending on diameter and width.
How it's built
Made to your BMW bolt pattern — 5x120 standard, other European patterns to order — with width and offset CNC-machined to your spec. 6–8 week lead time; every wheel is built to order. Staggered front/rear is the norm: configure the front, add to cart, then change width and offset and add the rear.
Finishes
40 finishes at no upcharge, applied in-house: gloss and matte Liquid Smoke, Transparent Gold, Transparent Charcoal, and more — custom colors quoted to spec. Available diameters 18"–22". The spec strip is your build sheet.
