Charge cooling that lowers IAT under sustained boost. The Stage 3 DI kit injects a 49% methanol / 51% water mix (Snow's Boost Juice) into the charge tract. Effective IAT drop is 15–35°F depending on ambient and boost pressure. Detonation margin moves with it.

What it does for your tune

Charge cooling buys timing margin. On a calibrated B48 or B58 running aggressive timing in the cells where the engine is most knock-limited, meth allows 1–3° more advance at the same knock probability. That's not a flat power number — it's a track-day repeatability number.

Not magic

Meth is not a substitute for proper fueling, a correctly sized intercooler, or a calibration that respects your fuel system's actual capacity. It is an additional knock margin tool. We use it on Stage 2+ builds where the customer drives the car hot.

What this is

A Part Recalibration is one focused revision built around the part you just bought. We take logs on your car as it runs now, on your current tune, then make a single full revision so this specific part delivers what it should. Hardware only does its job with a calibration shaped around it.

We bundle that tuning with the part right here, whatever brand the hardware is. If you want a fresh start across all your hardware, a Full Tune is the step up: a new base map, three revisions, and a written report.

This is a bootmod3 calibration. We tune through your own active BM3 license, so you'll need bootmod3 active on your car to load it.

You've added a Part Recalibration to more than one part. At that point a complete tune does more for you: a Full Tune lays down a fresh base map and three revisions so all of your new hardware is dialed in together, with a written report at the end. We can roll your recalibrations into one Full Tune for $395 — below our standalone Full Tune, which starts at $495 for a four-cylinder and $595 for a six.

The Full Tune is a bootmod3 calibration — it loads through your active BM3 license, the same one you confirmed for the recalibration.

WHY WE SHIP SNOW PERFORMANCE
Snow Performance builds the water-methanol injection systems we use to add an effective cooling and octane margin without committing the whole fuel system to ethanol. Spraying a metered water-meth charge drops intake temps and raises the knock threshold, which on a heat-limited car can be the headroom a calibration needs to hold timing. We reach for it on builds where the customer wants the thermal benefit but is not ready to convert to a full flex-fuel setup. Done right, with proper failsafes, it is a measured way to give a tune more room on pump gas.
