Centerlock only. No lug holes, no center cap — the middle of the RC05-CL is one turned bore with a stepped lock-ring seat, and a single nut is the only fastener.

Why this face

The twenty-point crosslace runs all the way in and dies into bare machined aluminum with nothing breaking it up. That is the argument for this version over the bolt-pattern RC05. The hub section carries more material than a bolt-pattern center of the same size to take single-nut clamp load, so expect a little more weight for it.

Will it fit your car

A hub question before it is a wheel question. Your car has to be on centerlock hubs already — factory, or a conversion kit you have installed. A five-stud hub cannot take this wheel and no adapter makes that safe; if your car runs studs, order the bolt-pattern version of this face. We cut the bore, lock-ring interface and drive geometry to your hub spec, so at intake we need hub part numbers (or the kit make and model), photos of the bare hub face on both axles, and target width and offset per corner. Torque and re-torque intervals come from whoever built your hubs.

Buying it from us

We are an authorized DR Forged dealer and a tuning shop — which matters more than usual on a centerlock build, because the wheel is cut to your hub and cannot be exchanged. We check hub spec, offset, width and brake clearance before the order releases to production. Staggered sets are two line items: set the front, add it, then change width and offset and add the rear. We are in Boca Raton, Florida, and your set ships freight from here.

Frequently asked questions

Will the RC05-CL fit my car?
Only if your car is already on centerlock hubs — factory or a conversion kit you have installed. A five-stud hub cannot take a centerlock wheel and no adapter makes that safe. If your car runs studs, order the bolt-pattern version of this face. We cut the bore and lock-ring interface to your hub specification, so we need hub part numbers and photos of the bare hub face at intake.

How long does an RC05-CL take to build?
Six to eight weeks. Every DR Forged wheel is machined to your bolt pattern, width and offset — there is no stock to pull from. The clock starts when we lock the spec sheet with you.

How much does the RC05-CL weigh?
20 to 26 lb per wheel depending on diameter and width. A centerlock center carries more material than a bolt-pattern center of the same size to take the single-nut clamp load, so it runs a couple of pounds above the bolt-pattern version of the same face.

Same face, other constructions: the RC05 monoblock and the RC05-M 2-piece modular. Construction changes weight, fitment range and the look of the joint — not the drawing.

BUILD STORY

How this wheel is built.

Every DR Forged wheel is made to order, not pulled from a shelf. The center is 6-axis CNC-machined from a forged 6061-T6 aluminum billet, in a one-piece monoblock or a two-piece modular build depending on the model. We spec each one to clear factory BMW M-Sport brakes, so the fitment is matched to the car rather than left generic.

Width and offset are cut to your spec, with finish and diameter chosen at order. Because these are built to order, plan on a lead time of 6 to 8 weeks rather than next-day stock. Staggered front/rear setups are common — configure the front spec, add to cart, then change width and offset and add the rear.

WHY WE SHIP DR FORGED
We ship DR Forged because a forged monoblock holds its shape under load in a way a cast wheel does not. On a track-driven build the wheel is a suspension component, not trim, and the weight you take off each corner is weight the dampers and tires no longer have to fight. DR Forged lets us spec a real width-and-offset target for a given chassis instead of settling for whatever the catalog stocks. When a customer is past Stage 2 and the tires are doing more work than the factory wheel was designed for, this is the wheel we reach for.
