Evolution Racewerks Turbo-to-Intercooler (TIC) Charge Pipe — N55 (F-Series)

$325.00

Evolution Racewerks Turbo-to-Intercooler (TIC) charge pipe for the single-turbo N55. "TIC" is the turbo-to-intercooler run — the hot-side pipe from the turbo outlet to the intercooler inlet. The factory piece is plastic and splits under sustained boost; this is its mandrel-bent aluminum replacement.

What it is

Mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum, sized to the intercooler inlet at 2.5". Factory-style O-ring lock flange (CNC-machined), beaded ends, T-bolt clamps, and a silicone hump hose are included.

Finishes

Brush, Polish, or Type III hard-anodized black — choose above.

TIC vs the rest of the charge-pipe path

The N55's charge piping runs in sections. This TIC pipe is the turbo-to-intercooler (hot) side. The Lower-Intercooler (LIC) pipe is a separate part on the cold side after the intercooler. Run them together for fully hard-piped charge routing.

Fitment

BMW N55 (F-chassis) — 335i (F30), 435i (F32/F33), M135i (F20/F21), M235i (F22/F23), and M2 (F87). Confirm your chassis in the selector.

WHY WE SHIP EVOLUTION RACEWERKS
Cooling is the first thing to run out on a boosted BMW, and Evolution Racewerks builds the charge coolers and intercoolers that buy back the headroom. The bar-and-plate cores carry more thermal mass than the factory units, which is what keeps intake temps from climbing into timing-pull territory on a back-to-back pull. Their charge pipes also delete the factory plastic coupler that is a known weak point under boost. When a Stage 1 or Stage 2 car is heat-soaking on the second hard pull, a competition cooler from Evolution Racewerks is usually the fix that holds the tune's numbers session after session.
