DL02-C Forged Wheel — CF Series Carbon (2-Piece)

The same five split-blade face as the DL02, hung inside a woven carbon barrel — metal claws against satin twill, with the outer edge of the wheel carbon all the way around.

Why this face

The spoke tips run out past the joint and sit over the lip. Etched CF-02 on the inner face. What the barrel buys you: carbon is the lightest construction in the range at every matched size — 17 to 25 lb per wheel, against 18 to 26 for the DL02 monoblock and 22 to 29 for the MW modular. Compare like for like at 21x11 and the carbon wheel comes out about a pound under the one-piece and roughly five under the modular. It cannot come out equal to either, at any diameter, at any width. What it costs you is size choice — the width list is shorter than the monoblock's.

Will it fit your car

Cut to your car — the E46 and E9x cars, the F30 and F32 3- and 4-series, the 2015–2020 M3 and M4, the 2019-up 3-series, the 2021-up M3 and M4, the current Z4 and F-series MINI. Pick your car in the configurator above and the bolt pattern and hub bore set themselves. The one real constraint is size: carbon is 20, 21 and 22 inch only, with a shorter width list than the aluminum wheels. If your build needs 19s or an odd width, order the monoblock.

Frequently asked questions

What bolt pattern does my BMW need?
It depends on the car, and BMW is not consistent about it. E- and F-chassis BMWs run 5x120. G-chassis BMWs run 5x112 — that includes the 2021-up M3 and M4. F-series MINI is 5x112; classic R53 and R56 are 4x100. We confirm it against your car before anything is cut.

How long does a DL02-C take to build?
Six to eight weeks. Every DR Forged wheel is machined to your bolt pattern, width and offset — there is no stock to pull from. The clock starts when we lock the spec sheet with you.

Is the carbon barrel actually lighter?
Yes, and not marginally. Fix a diameter and a width and the CF Series is the lightest of the three constructions every time — 17 to 25 lb per wheel, against 18 to 26 for the monoblock and 22 to 29 for the MW modular. Across four corners that is roughly sixteen to twenty pounds of rotating unsprung mass off the car versus a modular set.
