CSF front-mount heat exchanger for the S55 — F80 M3, F82/F83 M4, and F87 M2 Competition. The S55 runs an air-to-water charge-cooling system, and heat rejection at the front exchanger is the bigger of its two weak points. The factory unit gives up once boost and ambient climb, letting intake temps creep across back-to-back pulls.

What CSF changes

A 2-row, 42mm dual core with B-Tube geometry run as a dual-pass design — the coolant crosses the core twice before it leaves. CNC quick-connect fittings, a removable aluminum rock guard, and an aluminum drain plug. Drop-in fit in the factory location.

Finishes

We spec these with a Thermal Heat Dispersion coating by default — an emissivity coating that helps the core radiate heat away, which is exactly what you want on a cooler. Prefer to skip it? Raw or Black are available for less. Choose above.

CSF builds the radiators, heat exchangers, and charge coolers we use when the factory cooling stack can no longer keep up with the load a tuned car puts on it. The cores are engineered to factory fitment, so the upgrade goes in at the OEM locations without fabrication. On the heat-exchanger-cooled engines, the charge cooler is often the single highest-leverage cooling part, and CSF's units carry the thermal capacity to keep intake temps stable through repeated pulls. We ship CSF where a build needs more cooling than stock without giving up clean, factory-style integration.
