CSF Triple-Pass heat exchanger for F2x/F3x B58 and B48 — the radiator side of the charge-cooling loop. On these F-chassis cars the intake charge is cooled by a coolant circuit; this front exchanger cools the coolant that feeds the manifold's charge cooler. The factory unit is a single-row, ~27mm single-pass core that saturates under sustained load.

What CSF changes

A 68mm 2-row core — CSF calls it the largest 2-row they build — run as a triple-pass design, so the coolant crosses the core three times before returning to the manifold (the OEM unit and most aftermarket designs are single-pass). All-aluminum with B-Tube geometry, a detachable rock guard, and CNC quick-connect fittings. Installs with no modifications.

Finishes

We spec these with a Thermal Heat Dispersion coating by default — an emissivity coating that helps the core radiate heat away, which is exactly what you want on a cooler. Prefer to skip it? Raw or Black are available for less. Choose above.

CSF builds the radiators, heat exchangers, and charge coolers we use when the factory cooling stack can no longer keep up with the load a tuned car puts on it. The cores are engineered to factory fitment, so the upgrade goes in at the OEM locations without fabrication. On the heat-exchanger-cooled engines, the charge cooler is often the single highest-leverage cooling part, and CSF's units carry the thermal capacity to keep intake temps stable through repeated pulls. We ship CSF where a build needs more cooling than stock without giving up clean, factory-style integration.
