CSF High-Performance Heat Exchanger — B58 (G2x / G4x / Z4)

$1,105.00

CSF front-mount heat exchanger for the Gen-2 B58 — the radiator side of the water-to-air charge-cooling system. On these cars the intake charge is cooled by a coolant loop, and this front exchanger is what pulls heat back out of that coolant. The factory unit is a single-row, ~25mm core; once boost goes up it can't shed heat fast enough and intake temps climb pull after pull.

What CSF changes

A 2-row, 42mm core using CSF's B-Tube internal geometry — far more cooling capacity than the OEM single-row piece. All-aluminum and TIG-welded, with an included rock guard and OEM transmission-cooler mounting points built in. Drop-in fit using the factory locations and quick-connect lines.

Finishes

We spec these with a Thermal Heat Dispersion coating by default — an emissivity coating that helps the core radiate heat away, which is exactly what you want on a cooler. Prefer to skip it? Raw or Black are available for less. Choose above.

Fitment

Gen-2 B58 — G20/G21 330i & M340i, G22/G23/G26 430i & M440i, G42 M240i, and G29 Z4. Confirm your chassis in the selector.

This is the heat-exchanger-side core of a B58 Stage 2 build. The Stage 2 Kit — B58 packages the matched parts + calibration for 8% under à la carte.

WHY WE SHIP CSF
CSF builds the radiators, heat exchangers, and charge coolers we use when the factory cooling stack can no longer keep up with the load a tuned car puts on it. The cores are engineered to factory fitment, so the upgrade goes in at the OEM locations without fabrication. On the heat-exchanger-cooled engines, the charge cooler is often the single highest-leverage cooling part, and CSF's units carry the thermal capacity to keep intake temps stable through repeated pulls. We ship CSF where a build needs more cooling than stock without giving up clean, factory-style integration.
