Active Autowerke Signature GESI-catted downpipes for the S58 — G8x M3 / M4 / M2. The first step of the S58 exhaust and the downpipe-side core of a Stage 2 build.

Construction

TIG-welded 304 stainless with stainless flex joints and a casted upper V-band; 3" piping that never drops below the factory 70mm, with a pair of 4.5" GESI G-Sport Ultra High Output catalytic converters — EPA-registered, 49-state / OBD2, no CEL. Not California-legal.

Where it fits in the build

Downpipe-side core of an S58 Stage 2 build; we calibrate around it. The Stage 2 Kit — S58 bundles parts + tune for 8% under à la carte.

This is a bootmod3 calibration. We tune through your own active BM3 license, so you'll need bootmod3 active on your car to load it.

You've added a Part Recalibration to more than one part. At that point a complete tune does more for you: a Full Tune lays down a fresh base map and three revisions so all of your new hardware is dialed in together, with a written report at the end. We can roll your recalibrations into one Full Tune for $395 — below our standalone Full Tune, which starts at $495 for a four-cylinder and $595 for a six.

The Full Tune is a bootmod3 calibration — it loads through your active BM3 license, the same one you confirmed for the recalibration.

Active Autowerke has been building hardware for BMW for a long time, and that history shows in supercharger systems and exhausts that are engineered to a specific chassis rather than adapted to it. We carry their hardware because the depth of platform knowledge behind it tends to mean the kit fits and the supporting components are accounted for. On the naturally-aspirated platforms where a supercharger is the clean route to a real power increase, this is established, proven hardware.
