Looking for a B48 tuner who'll show their work?
We're a small shop in Boca Raton that calibrates BMW Group cars for a living. Every B48 tune is per-chassis, datalogged, revised if the numbers ask for it, and documented in writing. Here's how we work and what that buys you.
The flow, from quote to flash to revision.
Nothing here is a secret. Knowing the process is half the reason to pick us over a faceless flash.
We pick the right stage for your car.
If Stage 1 is what your hardware supports, we'll quote Stage 1. We won't sell a Stage 2 you can't run yet. The configurator walks you through chassis, fuel, and supporting parts.
Per-chassis maps written by hand.
88 BMW & MINI fitments in our library — each one's a real per-chassis calibration, not a global flash with a label change. We work from the OEM DME image (MG1CS003 / MG1CS201) up.
You flash, you log, we read.
Knock counts, fuel trims, MAF flow, boost target vs actual, IAT under load. If anything's off, we revise. The review is included in the tune price; the revisions are too.
Written log for every car.
Every revision, every supporting hardware change, every fuel swap — logged against your VIN. If you come back in a year for a new map or a part swap, the file's there.
Reversible, ISTA-clean, documented.
The bootmod3 flash is non-destructive. Stock revert pushes the OEM cal back to the DME in under five minutes — same factory image, same checksums. For dealer service, the workflow is: revert the night before, drop the car, re-flash when it comes back.
We write that revert step into your car's file the first time we tune it. Anyone who opens your case later knows there's a custom map, what version, and how to put the car back to stock without guessing.
An annotated ISTA-side write-up of what dealers actually see is on our roadmap. Until that essay lands, the short version is: revert before service, re-flash after, and the conversation doesn't come up.
The shop.
In-shop installs and datalog clinics in Boca Raton, off NW 2nd Ave, by appointment. Most customers in the Tri-County drive in for the install; everyone else gets the same calibration via remote datalog — same process, same review, same revision policy.
