Shipping Policy

Carrier Options

Most orders received will be shipped within 24 hours. Esse Werks currently uses UPS as our default shipping company for all domestic orders. With UPS, you can specify Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3rd Day Air, or Ground. FedEx and USPS services are also available upon special request. 

For international orders, DHL or UPS will be used according to cost, so as to benefit the customer.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs will be calculated based on the actual weight of your order and carry a $5 material and handling fee.

Oversized Packages

Orders weighing over 150 lbs cannot be shipped via UPS and therefore using a commercial trucking/transport carrier would become the default shipping method. If you need to be notified of Actual Shipping and Handling costs previous to shipping, please ask your sales rep or inform us by email while placing your order.

Insurance 

All orders shipped are fully insured, and normally require a handwritten signature at time of delivery.

Damaged Packaging

Customers are responsible for inspecting their complete order immediately upon receipt. If your product has been damaged during shipment, you must immediately notify us within 48 hours via email (sales@essewerks.com) and include pictures of the damage, including the original packaging. Do not throw away the box or packaging material or else a claim cannot be processed and therefore you will incur the loss. Extreme care goes into the handling and packaging of each Esse Werks product. All packages are shipped insured for invoice value. If a package appears to be damaged on arrival, report the damage to the driver immediately and have the driver acknowledge the damage as well. Ask the driver to note that the package is damaged. If product/s appear damaged after opening, contact the carrier immediately. Save all packaging as best as possible for a claim inspection.

Shipping Errors

In the case we ship you a product that is in error on part of Esse Werks, we will accept the incorrect item in return and provide you with the correct part if it is available from us. The item(s) will be shipped by UPS Ground domestic, or by our method of choice for international orders. If you wish to expedite this shipment, the customer is to pay the difference in cost for expedited service. If you wish the item dispatched before the incorrect item is received, we will place the value of the correct order on your balance until the incorrect item is returned to Esse Werks in resalable condition. Esse Werks will not honor this for any mis-ships due to customer error or website input errors.
